UI Design Skills
MUST have:
Hand code CSS (hardcore knowledge) and atleast should have worked on 3 to 4 websites without use of Dreamweaver or any such tools.
Strong fundamentals of CSS, HTML, DOM and Web Usability.
Strong knowledge of any of the designing tools like Photoshop or Paintshop.
Ability to write CSS with which we can reuse and interchange as SKINS for the web.
Preferred :
Knowledge of Javascript and the frameworks like Prototype or JQuery or Dojo etc. This is in line with writing the mechanism for switching the SKINS for the web application.
Knowledge of all the browser issues and ability to give solution.
A keen interest to deliver a nice and reusable user interface to a global client.
Good to have
Basic knowledge or experience working on or with teams of JSP, ASP
