IBM Websphere Message Broker Developer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• IBM Websphere Message Broker certification
• IBM Websphere MQ certification will be an advantage
• IBM Websphere SOA certification will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of JAVA, J2EE,WBI Message Broker V6.x, WBI MQ, WBI ESB V6.x, WAS, EAI Concepts, ESB Concepts, SOA Implementation, JCA component Design.
• Solid background in WBI Message Broker Operations, Administration and Support an advantage
• Solid hands-on experience with business service deployment and management on WBI Message Broker V5 and above
• Good troubleshooting skills and experience in vendor support escalation an advantage
• Proven track record in delivering process improvement and significant reengineering benefits
• Exposure to scripting and automation of product build and configuration is desirable
• Good understanding of XML, Xpath and XSLT
• Good understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience with WebSphere MQ
• Experience with the solution development life cycle
• Experience with Eclipse
• Experience performing transformations using ESQL, MessageSets, Java, graphical mapping and XSL
• Experience with messaging technologies (JMS, MQ)
• Integrating disparate application experience
• Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, ZOS including working knowledge and understanding of Group Policy and Domain dependencies is desirable
• Infrastructure development and implementation of WAS,WMQ and WBI message broker in large and complex distributed systems is desirable
• Experience with Integration in Large SOA (Service Oriented Architecture Projects) or Enterprise Integration Projects
• IT related qualification or equivalent will be an advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role is explicitly tasked with:
• Aiming to simplify the solution, by detecting duplications in the solution and eliminating these and their associated cost.
• Forming part of the IBM Websphere ESB integration team
• Taking a developer role in the review and acceptance of new Business Services to the Production environment
• Providing support and management for the Integration environments
• Participating in the management and resolution of incidents and problems as they occur
• Ongoing review of the various environments to identify potential areas of failure and taking appropriate action
• Building and maintain relationships with other Technology teams
• Ensuring continuous improvement and management of all areas of service delivery i.e. capacity management, availability management, business continuity, incident and problem management
• Ensuring compliance to group and team standards

JOB CONTENT & RESPONSIBILITIES:
