System Programmer – Mainframe Products
The System Programmer has a minimum of 5 – 10 years experience managing the configuration and maintenance of mainframe products along with the associated vendor tools and utilities to support the environment. The products include; mainframe programming languages, tools/utilities, performance monitoring products.
Responsibilities:
• Plan configuration changes and product upgrades
• Maintain optimal performance of the software products
• Install product upgrades for existing and new software products
• Install emergency corrections
• Perform problem determination and resolution as needed with application support and the Data Center operations
• Respond to inquiries and assist with problem determination and resolution
• Train and direct junior associates
