Job description for the SAP consultant that we want to position.


1. Coordinates activities and operations supporting client's SAPmodules; evaluates system requirements and implements solutions; configures, modifies, and tests SAP system components.


2. Prepares and maintains ERP system projects and work plans; develops Support solutions on current operations for client's ERP system; creates and documents strategies; and develops,

coordinates and executes standards, policies, methods and procedures for ERP business processes.


3. Provides day-to-day technical direction and leadership for ERP Support business processes; ability to accomplish project deliverables involving complex and highly analytical tasks.


4. Administers and executes installation upgrades and system patches; provides project leadership of large-scale system modifications; identifies appropriate staffing and resource needs including Offshore support.


5. Consults with system process owners to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of

system access.


6. Analyzes and develops requirements for enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits user needs at client.


7. Executes system integration testing; performs tests and modifies application configurations to resolve errors.


8. Defines and documents client's business functions and processes.


9. Tracks and fully documents changes; writes detailed procedures for permanent records and for use in end user training.


10. Responds to reports of Support problems and requests for assistance; provides operational support and implements fixes and additional features.


11. Identifies opportunities for improving business processes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems.


12. Provides technical and lead assistance in training all levels of SAP users; develops SAP user procedures and training curriculum; conducts training sessions.


13. Analyzes ERP systems technical literature and translates in terms understandable to end users.


14. Stays abreast of current trends, literature, and technologies in the field of ERP Support and Management.


15. Coordinates and reviews new functional business requirements and determines the impact on the production SAP environment.


16. Creates Advanced System Application Programs (ABAP) report updates.


17. Performs other duties as requested by our client
