The Role
We are looking for a mid-to-senior level person to take up a role of a designer in the team. Here are some of the expectations that we would have:
• Capability to conceptualise a design concept, present and discuss with the client and execute it creatively.
• Brainstorm with team members to come up with new concepts for clients.
• Creating well thought information architectures, wireframes, layouts and designs for corporate websites and web applications.
• Executing high quality designs using Photoshop would be considered second nature, as this will be the primary tool used to create designs. Knowledge of Illustrator/Corel Draw is desirable and good to have.
• Communicating with clients on a daily basis to understand briefs and deliver designs.
• Direct the work of, or critique, one or more junior designers who generate layouts and final art.
• Ability to explainand express his/her design philosophyverbally and in written (for the company magazine and blog).

Our client builds software dashboards, which are highly visual screen presentations of the data required to make business critical decisions. This involves understanding the data requirements of the top management and designing an easy to use dashboard for it. Then, identifying all the data sources required (which might vary from excel sheets to Oracle dbs) and connecting with them. Finally, we implement the dashboard using modern data visualization technologies. Our Client has built dashboards for clients like Goldman Sachs, Tata Communications, Microsoft, Kotak Wealth Management and others.
The Role
We are looking for a senior level person to take over a leadership role in the technology function of both the companies. Here are some of the expectations that we would have:
• Lead a team of 5 to 8 developers working on different projects across both the companies. This includes their daily work allocation, review, finding opportunities to help them grow etc.
• Be the man in charge for delivery on the technology components of all the projects.
• Play the technology architect for technology components of all projects. This includes ensuring a robust database design, application structure, choice of technologies to be used, phasing plan, delivery dates etc.
• Present technology plans to clients and develop the authority with them where they trust his judgment fully, in fact seek his advice on matters not directly related to the projects we work on.
• Be very hands on with the technologies helping the developers out when they need help.
• Plan and implement robust practices for development like
i. Code versioning (SV/GIT)
ii. Code reviews and refactoring
iii. QA processes
iv. Deployment processes
v. Server maintenance practices
• Develop tools and systems for training new people thoroughly in the technologies that we use.
• Constantly drive the technology team towards self-learning so that they are in touch with the latest.
