Position : WebSphere Commerce Developer
Responsibilities : Assumes overall technical responsibility for solution construction, implementation and system integration in e-commerce client engagements and delivers new and complex high-quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements. The WebSphere Commerce Developer influences client personnel and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex and require considerable diplomacy. Successful candidates have considerable latitude and responsibility to identify and select tools and processes necessary to address technical client development issues related to the project.
Required expertise:
• At least 2 years experience with Design and development of high-quality E-commerce systems using IBM WebSphere Commerce v6.0+ and object oriented technologies
• Apply architecture and design techniques within the SOA paradigm.
• Perform system requirements analysis, definition, allocation, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Commerce integrations and feeds using MQ, Web services etc
• Knowledge of patterns and pattern usage in Software Development and Data Systems
• Team Development/Training around WCS
Soft Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to clearly and concisely translate business and technical requirements to appropriate groups.
• Excellent complex issue troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• At least 3 -4 years of Experience in all the phases of a software development cycle - Requirements, Development, Testing, and Deployment/Transition
• Understanding of the SDMM and/or CMM and ability to develop effective strategies to develop software that meets mature development organizational standards
• Deep understanding of at least one major Software Development Methodology, AGILE preferred
