Experience : [6-9 yrs]
The Build and Release Engineer will
own the build and release infrastructure for multiple projects. This will
include designing and implementing processes and tools to support continuous
integration , smoke testing builds and DevOps. In addition, the Release
Engineer will be an evangelist for good software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
· Hands
on experience on Team city , Maven or similar build frameworks
· Expert
level exposure to setting up and managing end to end cloud based
build , deployments and DevOps.
· Proven
experience in Linux and scripting languages such as python
· Familiarity
with cloud computing specially on Amazon EC2 and S3
· Familiarity
with Agile project execution
· Ability
to work as a team and adaptable to learn new technologies
- Work
with multiple project teams in Hyderabad and US
- Willing to work in Shift
system , long hours during the release.
Minimum Qualifications
- Mastery
of source control tools such as Perforce and SVN
- 6+
years experience in writing Java programs and Python scripts
- Experience
using and developing software for GNU/Linux systems
- 5+
years release and management experience
- Expert Level Automation exposure
using open source technologies.
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Bachelor’s
degree or higher
- Significant
work and contributions to one or more open source projects
- Experience
in automating processes
- Experience
working with distributed systems
