PROJECT MANAGER (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & DATA WAREHOUSING)
This role is based in India but also involves regular travel to Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries

WHY WE WANT TO HIRE
Our Client is negotiating Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing projects with some Middle East based clients and we have serious growth plans for this segment

WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

a) Someone who genuinely believes in devising, implementing and delivering the simplest and most cost effective solutions to customers
b) Someone who has the patience and genuine interest in listening to the customer, understanding their requirements and then providing a solution
c) Someone who can instill confidence in customers that you know what you are doing
d) Someone with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role with a minimum 3 years in developing, designing, large scale data integration, analysis and reporting solutions
e) Someone who can lead a team with least possible human politics
f) Someone who can motivate a group of people to work for a common goal and keep them interested in doing it

RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Keeping the client happy at all times by delivering what was promised
b) Work closely with the business development team and deal with the client on technical matters with an end goal of closing the deal
c) Drives solution conceptualization and development
d) Maximizing per client revenue

SKILLS

a) In depth understanding of BI/DW design principles in creating customized solutions to customers
b) Ability to write a technical proposal
c) Ability to write and make presentations to senior people
d) Exposure to industry standard BI/DW architechtures
e) Knowledge of multiple ETL, OLAP and Reporting tools (including but not limited to): Informatica, IBM DataStage, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle BI Suites, Microsoft BI Suite, Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy etc.
f) Knowledge of databases and their features commonly used for BI/DW
g) Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling
h) Experience in creating logical/physical architectures
i) Knowledge of different types of environments (development, staging, testing and production etc) and usage of those environments in the various stages of application development lifecycle
j) Knowledge of agile software development methodologies is desirable
