Main Role (Overall Accountability)
. To provide support for Information Security department
& Projects Service Personnel; Personnel Specifications
. Engineering or Post Graduate in Computer Science,
Information Systems or equivalent I.T. disciplines, preferably with CISM,
CRISC, CISSP or other such professional certifications.
. Minimum 8-10 years of experience as an information
security professional in a reputed organization with sound knowledge and
working experience.
. Strong knowledge of risk assessment and information
security technologies, security products and solutions.
. Must have sound understanding of information technology
and information security products/solutions and knowledge of banking
applications.
. Must have good knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001,
ISO 27005, PCI-DSS, CoBIT etc.
I am working as a Lead Consultant–Information Security Specialist with overall experience of 13 years including 3 Years with Standard Charted Bank (UK -offshore Chennai ). My main area of expertise is Information Security Management, Risk Management and Audit Compliance. I am associated with managing a team of monitoring, risk analysis, threat mitigation, vulnerability management, risk assessment by handling Team of various sizes. I have worked primarily in the Banking domain of Security and tools Integration. My technological forte is Information Security Management and I am also proficient in Configuring, deploying, and Administration event monitoring tools.
