SQL DBA – 0001SDBATSC (Job Code)

Primary Skill Requirement 1. In depth understanding of MS SQL Server, related utilities and tools
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Profiler, Server Management Console, and Agent
3. In depth understanding of the underlying Windows Operating system
4. In depth knowledge of database design
5. Ability to perform both Database and Operating system performance tuning and monitoring
6. In depth knowledge of ALL SQL Server backup and recovery scenarios
7. In depth knowledge of data integrity
8. Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
9. A sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
10. Ability to acquire a sound understanding of business processes and participate in all phases of the Corporate project management lifecycle
11. SQL Server 2008/2005 design, development, configuration, deployment experience
12. Visual Studio .Net development experience
13. Minimum of 5 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience
Secondary Skill Requirement Good communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators.
Multi-lingual English, French, German or Spanish highly desirable
